SCRIPTURE: Malachi 3:13-18

unknown quote says that “Grace is what God gives us when we don't deserve and
mercy is when God doesn't give us what we do deserve.”
I.
GOD’S MERCY
A. Not for
those who stopped believing and hoping (v14)
B. Not for
those who envy the wicked and their ways (v15)
II.
They who show mercy
A. Blessed are
they for God sees them (v16)
B. God will
have mercy on them and will take them as His own (v17)
CONCLUSION: The Difference will be
known (v18). God records His intimate friends in His book of remembrance (V16)
cf Ex 32:32. God’s special possession when He takes action on His day are His
special friends—those who fear and trust in His name. There will be a judgment day
and a review. There will be erasures too. (Rev 3:5)
